Our school day allows us 23.5 hours spent on teaching during a normal school week excluding the daily act of collective worship, registration and break time.

Please do not allow your children to arrive before 8:30 a.m. as important preparations are being made for the day. Following 8:30 a.m., as they arrive children come straight into school, when the teachers will be ready for them. From 8:45 a.m. each morning the only access to the school is via the main entrance at the front, which is manned. All other doors will only allow exit. This is part of our school safety policy.

Children who attend Breakfast or After School Clubs at The Cottage on site, will be dropped off or collected by Cottage staff.
